Student Resource Center

Academic Assistance

Moody Bible Institute's Student Resource Center is open to all students on the Chicago campus. The Student Resource Center seeks to assist students in improving their academic performance and achieving a satisfactory grade point average while at Moody by offering help with study skills, test taking and time management. Peer tutoring is also available for students on our Chicago campus.

Our tutors assist with specific courses as well as general skills such as writing papers. Students are allowed two free tutoring hours per week, per subject throughout the semester.

Disability Services

Our goal is to provide qualified individuals with disabilities an equal opportunity to participate in all curricular activities, services, facilities and privileges available at Moody. This is accomplished by providing and coordinating support services that enable students to maximize their educational potential. Moody Bible Institute complies with the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) as well as Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, by providing appropriate accommodations to qualified students with disabilities. We value diversity and inclusion and recognize disability as an aspect of diversity. We strive to create learning environments that are accessible, equitable, and inclusive. If you anticipate or experience barriers to physical buildings or to format, requirements or assessment of courses or programs, you are encouraged to contact Allen Hammond, our disability services provider, at the Student Resource Center to discuss possible environmental modifications or adaptations. Please note that accommodations are not retroactive, therefore, we encourage you to contact our service provider prior to starting courses or within the first two weeks of the semester. Accommodations will be made on an individual basis. Contact Sam Murphy at sam.murphy@moody.edu or 312-329-2177.
